Accessing JDOH online

  1. Go to www.jdohonline.org which will bring you to the publisher’s website Stephen Hancocks Limited.
  2. At the first visit only, you will need to register by clicking on REGISTER in the top right hand corner of the screen.
  3. Please enter your GDC number, if you have one, or click on SKIP if you do not have a GDC number, and follow the brief registration process.  You will need to enter a valid email address. If at this point your personal details are incorrect, please wait until your account is activated before changing them. 
  4. You will then be sent an ‘activation’ email where you will need to click on the link contained within the email This will complete your registration and activate your account. You will then be able to log in. When entering email addresses and passwords, please manually type the information in rather than using copy and paste.
  5. Once logged in to the site, you will be presented with the following options:

This is the main menu to your personal account and ensures the security of your personal details, subscriptions and CPD account.  If at anytime you wish to return to these options, simply click on ‘VIEW YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS’ shown in the top right hand corner.

To view the current and all previous issues of JDOH click on View your active subscriptions/purchases then on Journal of Disability and Oral Health in the bottom left hand corner.

To take the CPD in the current issue, click on VIEW YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS, then CPD AREA and AVAILABLE CPDs

Note on security settings

In some instances the standard explorer security settings are set too high. You may need change this to low or medium.  (With Internet Explorer open, go to Tools; Internet Options, select the ‘security’ tab and lower the setting).

Note to AOL users

Because of structural problems with the AOL internet/web browser, AOL users are advised to access the JDOH site through Internet Explorer instead of through AOL.
